Japan Govt to prep for cyber-attack by sending 'infected' e-mail to staff
The government's Information Security Policy Council decided Friday to conduct a drill in which e-mails infected with a mock virus will be sent to about 50,000 ministry and agency employees to heighten their awareness of cyber-attacks. The e-mails with an attachment containing the fake virus will be sent to the employees between October and December. Those who open the attachment or inappropriately access it will be advised about how to avoid being duped by viruses.
